Mass-production of vinyl/paper stickers starts with large rolls/sheets of vinyl/paper. It is fed through a plotter or large-format printer/cutter which prints the desired image and cuts out the desired shapes. Designs are typically created using specialized computer software and sent to the machines electronically. After the patterns are cut, excess vinyl/sticker on the sheet is removed in a process called weeding.
It is always best to explain the end-use of your sticker or label in order for us to facilitate you on the correct choice of paper/vinyl/film and ink to use. Some materials are more resistent to UV (for stickers to be used outside) than others. If you are planning to use the sticker as a product label, it will require a different combination of material and ink. Let us know what you need, and we’ll make sure you get the right sticker.
Our on-location design studio, Sorted Design Agency will be able to help out with sticker design.
